Preconco / Caribbean Homes in Barbados is one of our long-standing customers. Since 2002, our American sister company Ratec LLC has been supplying Preconco with magnets and formwork systems for their prestressed slab plant. In 2007, Reymann Technik planned a new vertical carousel system for Preconco, which was unique in the western hemisphere at the time. It was followed by another carousel system for Caribbean Homes in 2010.
This year, both plants were rationalised by Reymann Technik. This primarily involved the integration of new master computers and laser projection. At the same time, the formwork technology was also modernised. Preconco received a completely new formwork system, and for Carribean Homes we supplied additional formwork components, e.g. fastening systems for built-in parts. Gerd Necker was on site in April to provide implementation services and to train the employees.
